Jeremiah 29:11-13

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

I needed this so much! I was finally finding my way back, and then the car breaks down 87 miles from home. Terrified me. I found this at 3:30 in the morning

This is very much what I needed this week, with what is happening to friends of mine. I can help them further with this verse. These verses have helped me, my friends and my family. I pray that I can continue to connect through this.

I am a 1st Grade teacher and I am contemplating a transfer to another school closer to where I live. I have been praying… doing a prayer walk around the school I am considering.

God knows the plans! I am trusting Him to give me peace and clarity in this decision.

We have a freshman and a junior in high school and a freshman in college. These verses bring great comfort and encouragement to me as a mother knowing that God has a plan for my children.

  5. Susan says:

This is the verse I read daily, several times a day while I battled depression a few years ago. I even have a bracelet engraved with the verse I wore always. I knew God had a plan for me and it has been a spectacular plan! Today we are rejoicing with our daughter as she learned she is receiving a President’s scholarship to her number one pick college. We petitioned our glorious God and He listened!
Never ever give up or give in, God is there, Trust Him with all your heart, mind and soul and the adventure of a lifetime will begin!

  6. George says:

For me these verses begin with the last verse. They speak of a ‘total’ surrender “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”. In that total surrender, you can pray to God, he’ll listen and you’ll be a part of that perfect plan he has in for you filled with hope and using you for his Glory.

  7. Kari Wells says:

As my son faces another long hospitalization, I am amazed at how God seems to be laying these passages down at my feet. This week’s verse was like a gentle reminder that God is in control and has a plan for my son. I find myself praying more and more each day and am so comforted to know that my prayers are being heard. This isn’t the first time the SWEET 16 verse has struck a chord with issues that we are dealing with. Each week’s selection seems to be just what I need to hear. Praise God for His perfect timing and the hope I find in His word.
