Revelation 21:3-4

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Make it S.W.E.E.T.

MONDAY: Take the Scripture passage & simply read it over! God wants to speak to you so slow down, paying attention to what gets your attention. If something doesn’t get your attention right away, read it over until something does, asking God to bring something to your attention. We suggest copying the passage in your journal as part of this day’s read over.

TUESDAY: Take your journal and start to Write! Begin with the raw thought that got your attention yesterday and chase it. Get messy! You’re not writing an essay. Remember thoughts tend to disentangle themselves when they pass through the fingertips. Just start writing even if it feels a little forced at first. It will come!

WEDNESDAY: Engage in conversation with others about your thoughts from the week and watch the insights multiply as the interaction draws out still more. Don’t keep the richness to yourself! Pass it on!

THURSDAY: Express to God your thoughts about the things you are learning this week. Thank Him for insights gained! Share with Him your desire for these truths to change you and make you more like Jesus! Ask Him to move them from your head to your heart!

FRIDAY: Identify your Takeaway! The real sweetness of God’s Word gets released into our lives when we allow what we learned this week to impact the way we think, feel, act and speak! With a week’s worth of momentum built up, be prepared for impact!
