Royal Family Kids' Camps in Nebraska

Royal Family Kids' Camps in Nebraska

The purpose of Royal Family Kids' Camps is to create positive memories for abused and neglected children ages 7-11, in a one-week camp experience. There are currently 7 Royal Family Kids' Camps in Nebraska serving approximately 350 kids every summer. Yet, there are many more eligible children in the foster care system who don't have the opportunity to attend camp because of the limited space!

If we could see 10 more Royal Family Kids' Camps start up in Nebraska, that would give every eligible child in the foster care system the opportunity to attend camp!

What does it take to start a camp?
It’s as easy as

1. SELECT leaders. Your Camp Director will need energy, leadership capability, organizational skills, and a heart for needy youngsters.

2. SEND them to training. Your Camp Director and two to four additional people will attend an existing Royal Family Kids' Camps one year prior to your camp. The Directors will not only observe a camp in action, but they will receive hours of intense training regarding organizing the camp, interacting with county government, preparing counselors and much more. Training sessions are offered in various geographical areas of the U.S. throughout the summer.

3. START your ministry to abused and neglected children! The year after training, your church will be ready to sponsor your own Royal Family Kids' Camps. Your Camp Director will know how to organize, recruit volunteers, raise funds, train counselors and staff, and much more!

Six Great Reasons to be involved in Royal Family Kids' Camps

The 7 existing camps are in Columbus, Fremont, Hastings, Kearney, Grand Island, Lincoln and Omaha.
