Facing Darkness film – Grand Island
March 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Facing Darkness is a movie put out by Samaritan’s Purse (Franklin Graham’s organization). It is the story of Dr. Kent Brantly who contracted Ebola while in Liberia working to fight the epidemic. At the present time there will be only two showings of this movie–Thursday, Mar. 30, and Monday, Apr 10, both at 7 P.M. Grand Island Stadium 7 is the only place the movie will be shown in out-state Nebraska.
Franklin Graham says this about the movie: “It’s my prayer that God will use Facing Darkness to raise up an army of doctors and missionaries like Kent Brantly — just like when I was a boy and the story of Jim Elliott and Nate Saint inspired thousands to answer God’s call and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. (Parents should know that the story may be too intense for younger viewers.) Any proceeds from ticket sales will support the medical ministry of Samaritan’s Purse as we work with dozens of mission hospitals around the world.”
