Positions

Position: Professional Foster Parents, Christian Heritage, Lincoln, NE

Position Description:  Christian Heritage is seeking a couple with experience caring for at-risk youth and children to live in one of our large residential homes on campus and provide Professional Foster Care in a home atmosphere. Respite service is available to you. The ideal family will have 2+ years of experience caring for 3+ at-risk youth in their home. Christian Heritage transitioned 6 of our group homes into Professional Foster Homes and has experienced great success in achieving a healthy family environment for both the foster parents and the youth we serve. Christian Heritage would create a contractual relationship with you, where you will care for an average of 4+ foster children. Only one parent will work outside the home. Each of the foster children in your home will attend public school in the community, as Christian Heritage works to restore the family and transition each of the children to living again with their family of origin. You will have the op portunity to review background information of youth being referred for placement, and you will be involved in the placement decision.

Minimum Requirements:  The ideal couple will have at least 2 years of experience caring for 3+ at-risk youth in their home.

Position: Youth Ministry Associate, Todd Becker Foundation, Kearney, NE

Position Description:  This person would primarily be responsible for ministering to high school girls through the Todd Becker Foundation’s assemblies. Their main duties include sharing the Gospel in one-on-one conversations, leading girls to Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God and helping counsel impacted girls following an outreach event. Duties also include, but are not limited to: assistance in setting up of staging, sound and video system for each event. Additional office/administrative duties may also apply for a candidate with such skills. The position is a paid position.

Minimum Requirements:  Applicants must posses a good ability to communicate, be very comfortable starting and leading conversations, be passionate about advancing the Gospel and have a good knowledge of the Bible. Applicants must also enjoy and be willing to travel, as the position requires frequent travel (typically 3 days per week of travel). In addition, this individual should have a teachable spirit willing to grow not only in this ministry position, but in their relationship with the Lord.

Position: Youth Ministry Associate - Music Ministry, Todd Becker Foundation, Kearney, NE

Position Description:  This person would primarily be responsible for ministering to high school youth through the Todd Becker Foundation’s assemblies. Their main duties include sharing the Gospel in one-on-one conversations, leading students to Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God and helping counsel impacted students following an outreach event. Additional opportunities at outreach events may apply for candidates with musical abilities: a drummer & bass guitarist is needed to play in the Todd Becker Foundation’s touring band, which opens all events with live music. The position is a paid position.

Minimum Requirements:  Applicants must posses a good ability to communicate, be very comfortable starting and leading conversations, be passionate about advancing the Gospel and have a good knowledge of the Bible. Applicants must also enjoy and be willing to travel, as the position requires frequent travel (typically 3 days per week of travel). In addition, this individual should have a teachable spirit willing to grow not only in this ministry position, but in their relationship with the Lord.
